Batinfo: How was GIT Software born?
Jean-Marie Trouillet: GIT software was created in 1981 by our architectural firm: 3 agencies and 25 people. It was marketed in 1984 and has more than 5.000 customers, which makes it, to this day, the benchmark software for project management.
Batinfo: How is GIT Software composed?
Jean-Marie Trouillet:GIT software consists of 4 modules, which allow you to handle administrative and financial tasks related to a construction site:
- GIT DESCRIPTION: Processing of calls for tender (CCAP, CCTP, DPGF, DQE, Quantity survey),
- GIT MANAGEMENT: financial management and monitoring of your construction sites (work situation, payment certificate, etc. up to the DGD)
- GIT FEES: allows the calculation and management of fees
- GIT TEXTS: manages all “text documents” relating to your projects.
These 4 modules are interactive, which allows you to compose your software according to your needs and complete it as you go.
Batinfo: How is GIT Software used?
Jean-Marie Trouillet: Unlike its competitors, GIT software is very easy to use and does not require training.
In addition, our customers benefit from free assistance, as well as integrated remote maintenance: remote support.
Batinfo: What are the advantages of GIT Software?
Jean-Marie Trouillet: The main advantage of GIT software is its ease of use (no training, free assistance).
Then its database. In fact, the GIT software integrates a TCE database, with 70.000 articles, standards, regulations, DTUs as well as the average prices observed.
And finally, the personalization of documents. The GIT software includes an editing generator, which allows you to modify any document (logo, font, layout, etc.) and thus maintain our clients' graphic charter. In addition, the editions can be directed either to the printer, or to a Word, Excel or PDF file.
Batinfo: What are the developments in GIT Software?
Jean-Marie Trouillet: With more than 5.000 customers, we are of course attentive to their needs. This allows us to adapt to their needs and thus develop GIT software permanently.
This listening and these different developments make GIT software to date the reference software in project management.
Batinfo: How do you see the future?
Jean-Marie Trouillet: Despite this difficult period (COVID, global instability, etc.) we have done well, since we are still growing in terms of the number of our customers. They trust us and even recommend our software. This is our best advertising. It is by making simple software, by remaining attentive to our customers, and by following market developments that we will continue our growth.
Batinfo: A final comment?
Jean-Marie Trouillet: The best way to convince is to judge for yourself. I invite people to contact us in order to present them GIT software, so they will be able to judge for themselves the ease of use of the GIT project management software
