Batinfo: Can you introduce INSTAGRID?

Frédéric Lambert: Founded 5 years ago, Instagram is a German company that designs, develops and markets portable power systems for professional use that replace generators from 0 to 5 KVA. It is present in Europe, the USA and Australia and has marketed more than 50.000 portable electric generators since its creation.

Our flagship product Instagrid ONE is compact, portable with one hand (20kg), powerful (peak power of 18 kW), durable (2,1 kWh of on-board energy) and is robust (IP54, it allows you to work indoors and outdoors, in mud, dust, in the rain or snow from -20° to +60°C). It is respectful of its user and the environment (no noise and no CO2 emissions.)

Batinfo: What are your latest news?

Frédéric Lambert: Instagrid LINK is a smart coupler that expands the functions of our portable power generator and enables new high-performance applications. Connect two Instagrid ONE units to double the capacity to 4,2 kWh and three units to triple it to 6,3 kWh, to do even more. Instagrid LINK allows hot plugging and combined with the conventional network it then becomes an inverter.

Instagrid APP is our brand new battery fleet management application. With it, you will be able to track your consumption and CO2 emissions, optimize your costs and geolocate your units to avoid theft.

Batinfo: Can you tell us about your future projects? How do you see the future for INSTAGRID?

Frédéric Lambert: We are expanding our range with new products that we will present at the Bauma in April this year. The future is very bright for Instagrid as we are innovative in a booming market.
