Batinfo: Can you introduce Nat'H Nature-Harmonie?

Olivier Winock: Nat'H Nature-Harmonie was born in December 2019 from an unlikely yet obvious encounter: that of a bird enthusiast and a concrete engineer. Two seemingly opposing worlds, but which share the same conviction: the built environment and nature should not ignore each other, they must coexist.

Some pointers:

Batinfo: What are your latest news?

Olivier Winock: We are increasingly developing bespoke solutions, and this is clearly what defines us today. Every project is unique, and every request deserves a tailored response. Historical monuments are the most striking example: how do you integrate a bat roost or a nesting box into a listed building without compromising its architecture? It's a technical and aesthetic challenge that we tackle with passion.

But our clients don't stop there — we receive increasingly original requests, and we welcome them all with the same guiding principle: to protect wildlife biodiversity, without compromise.

The issue of exterior thermal insulation has also become central for Nat'H. Many are still unaware, but the walls of our buildings shelter precious wildlife: swifts, bats, tits... Installing insulation without considering these habitats is to condemn entire species. It's a silent ecological disaster. Our solution: to integrate nesting boxes and roosts directly into the insulation, so that energy renovation never again comes at the expense of living things.

Batinfo: Can you tell us about your future projects?

Olivier Winock: Nat'H is growing fast — maybe even faster than our walls! A new factory is being considered to meet the increasing demand. It's a good problem to have.

We are also laying the groundwork for European development. We are at the very beginning, but the conviction is there: the issue of wildlife in buildings does not stop at French borders. Biotope's involvement is a tremendous accelerator for this international reach.

And in parallel, our design office is expanding to go even further technically. Climate change requires us to constantly rethink our solutions: new materials, integrated ventilation systems, adaptation to new regulations... Innovation is not an option at Nat'H, it's a necessity.

Batinfo: How do you see the future of Nat'H Nature-Harmonie?

Olivier Winock: With ambition — and urgency. In the coming years, Nat'H will be the European leader in wildlife protection solutions for buildings. This isn't just a stance; it's a direction we set for ourselves every day.

Biodiversity is collapsing. Urban species are disappearing. And yet, every building constructed or renovated is an opportunity to reverse this trend. We want Nat'H to be there, every time, so that buildings become allies of life rather than obstacles.

This is an ecological emergency. And Nat'H is doing everything it can to respond.
