Batinfo: Can you introduce Feelbat?

Jean-Christophe Habot: Feelbat specializes in continuous infrastructure monitoring solutions using connected sensors. We support civil engineering, construction, industrial, and geotechnical sectors with reliable and accessible solutions to prevent risks and optimize operations.

Infrastructure faces major challenges: global warming could expose 16 million homes to risk by 2050. In Europe, 30% of bridges are over 50 years old and 10% are in critical condition. More than 10,4 million homes in France rest on clay soils, increasing the risk of clay shrinkage and swelling (CSH).

Since our inception, we have been recognized by the IoT Business Hub 2022, Innovation Outre-Mer, the Connect Award and the Tech Show for Construction 2023. In 2024, we won the KES Innovation Award for the DELTA L+ mini, the world's smallest crack sensor, as well as the Tech for Good Awards and the BÂTI Tropical.

Our sensor range offers a variety of solutions, for example: the DELTA L+ mini, the world's smallest stand-alone crack sensor, with a drill-free installation using glue; the DELTA R for monitoring tilt movements; the DELTA XP, a connected piezometric probe that eliminates manual intervention; or the Extenso Pack for measuring convergences.

Our sensors use Sigfox networks, and soon LoRaWAN and 4G to ensure continuous and remote transmission of data.

Batinfo: Can you tell us about your latest news?

Jean-Christophe Habot: Feelbat recently won the KES Innovation Award for the DELTA L+ mini, strengthening our position in structural monitoring. We have also been recognized by the Tech for Good Awards and BÂTI Tropical, confirming our commitment to delivering sustainable technologies.

Our presence in Southern Europe has been consolidated with the arrival of a new employee, illustrating our desire for expansion. We have also been awarded two calls for projects (France 2030 RGA national call for projects and France 2030 regional call for projects for natural risk analysis), demonstrating our ability to innovate and respond to the sector's challenges with concrete and effective solutions.

Batinfo: Can you tell us about your future projects? How do you see the future for Feelbat?

Jean-Christophe Habot: Feelbat's future lies in expanding our range with connected sensors tailored to specific applications. The DELTA XP, for example, monitors water table variations while avoiding manual intervention and saving teams time.

The DELTA L+ mini, the world's smallest connected crack sensor, offers ultra-fast deployment thanks to adhesive installation, but also by measuring the impact of brightness on materials (analyzing the impact linked to thermal expansion).

Our connected sensors are designed to transmit accurate data and alerts in real time, ensuring efficient and continuous remote monitoring.

Our ambition is to strengthen our presence in Europe with local teams and reliable and accessible solutions.

This ambitious strategy is based on three pillars: continuous innovation, international expansion, and strengthening internal skills. Feelbat thus aims to guarantee the safety and sustainability of its structures while anticipating future challenges in the sector.
