Batinfo: Can you tell us about POINT.P and how you support your professional clients today?

Bertrand Alard: POINT.P is the leading distributor of building materials in France, with nearly 1.000 points of sale spread across the country. Our mission is to support both building professionals—craftsmen, businesses, developers—and individuals with projects, by offering them a comprehensive range of products, technical solutions, and services. POINT.P's strength lies in its proximity: we are present wherever construction sites and buildings are located, with expert teams capable of advising and providing concrete solutions. There is an agency twenty minutes from each construction site.
Beyond materials, we have also developed efficient logistics services, a consulting relationship, and digital tools to make our customers' lives easier. We keep human relationships and the role of our agencies as living and consulting spaces at the heart of our model: the agency is the artisan's third living space after their home and the construction site!
Batinfo: Energy renovation is a key issue. How does it fit into your strategy?
Bertrand Alard: Energy renovation is at the heart of our strategy. It's a societal, environmental, and climate-related priority. The challenge is immense: buildings still account for 40% of energy consumption in France and nearly 25% of greenhouse gas emissions.
Energy renovation is undoubtedly the biggest project of the next ten years, and at POINT.P we have made it a major focus of our strategy. In concrete terms, this translates into several areas.
First, through our territorial network: with nearly 1,000 points of sale, we are as close as possible to the buildings in need of renovation, all over France. This is essential because renovation is a local process, directly supporting craftsmen and businesses. Each POINT.P agency is a place where you can find not only high-performance materials, but also advice, training, and tools to successfully complete energy renovation projects.
Then, through a tailored and readable offering. We are enriching our catalogs with solutions that allow craftsmen to meet thermal and environmental requirements: insulation, carpentry, bio-sourced systems, new technologies like Terlian.
Finally, for many tradespeople, energy renovation has become a rebound activity, an essential growth driver, but complicated in its implementation, with regulations that are sometimes very unclear and changing. Faced with this, POINT.P has trained 1,000 Renovation Assistance Referents (RAR) in our agencies. These employees are there to guide tradespeople in their efforts, help them decipher aid schemes and offer them suitable solutions. We also provide them with concrete tools, and we go further with field actions: in 2024, we organized a national "Action Rénovation Énergétique" tour which raised awareness and trained more than 3,000 tradespeople. From September 15 to November 4, 2025, we are launching our 3rd Energy Renovation roadshow in 100 agencies in the heart of the regions.
We also launched the École des Bâtisseurs, a unique program to train future artisans in the essential skills of tomorrow, particularly in energy renovation. This is a very concrete way to contribute to the upskilling of these young people because the need for qualified labor is considerable.
Concretely, our role is first of all to support artisans in their activity throughout their professional career.
Batinfo: You recently launched a new low-impact environmental solution. Can you tell us more about this innovation and the materials you are developing?
Bertrand Alard: We have indeed launched Terlian, a technology patented by Saint-Gobain. It's an innovation based on excavated earth, a low-carbon mineral binder, and bio-sourced fibers. This allows us to create sprayed tiles or walls that improve thermal performance and regulate humidity while significantly reducing the carbon footprint. It's a technology inspired by traditional know-how such as cob, but adapted to modern techniques and current sustainability requirements.
At the same time, we are working on other low-carbon materials, including a cement-free concrete block with our partner CarbiCrete, which we will market in the first quarter of 2026. With our ranges and thanks to our various partnerships, we want to make simple, sustainable, efficient, and competitive solutions accessible. Our objective is clear: to offer craftsmen materials that combine innovation and ease of implementation, without altering the craftsman's gesture.
Batinfo: POINT.P also offers showrooms. Your strategy therefore also targets individuals. What role do they play in your model today?
Bertrand Alard: Individuals with projects play a growing role in our dynamic, particularly when it comes to renovations and extensions. That's why we offer them quality support, based on the same high standards as professionals. In concrete terms, this means tailored advice, a comprehensive and sustainable offering, and simplified access to products and services useful for their projects.
We have deployed 235 inspiring showrooms throughout France, with advisors specifically dedicated to individual requests. We also offer video appointments until 20 p.m. to facilitate support. We have two city-center boutiques in Paris and Lyon. These spaces are designed to inspire, advise, and help bring projects to fruition, while directing customers to qualified craftspeople.
We're also investing in digital tools that enhance the customer experience, such as Magic View, our 3D projection solution that allows customers to view our products directly indoors or outdoors. It integrates more than 1,000 references, facilitating decision-making and strengthening consumer confidence.
Finally, we develop ranges such as ARTE DECO for decorative coverings.
