Batinfo: Can you introduce VTI? A few key dates and figures?

Eric Fraisse: For over 40 years, VTI has been designing and manufacturing ventilation solutions in France for the energy-efficient renovation of multi-family residential buildings. Our expertise is entirely focused on the rehabilitation of existing buildings, a field where technical constraints are particularly demanding and where each project requires a tailored solution.
Our company is family-owned. The concept of low-pressure ventilation was conceived by my grandfather in the 1970s, when it didn't yet exist. My father then founded VTI in 1983 to develop this innovation. Even today, we are the only manufacturer to design true low-pressure solutions, specifically designed for buildings constructed before 1982.
Over the years, we have become the French leader in ventilation for energy-efficient renovations. Today, we hold approximately 60% of the low-pressure ventilation market, making VTI the undisputed leader in this niche segment. Our product range includes nearly thirty low-pressure ventilation and mechanical ventilation solutions, enabling us to address the wide variety of configurations found in multi-family buildings, whether constructed before or after 1982.
Beyond technical performance, our mission is to sustainably improve indoor air quality while contributing to energy savings. This vision is part of our "Green Air" approach, which aims to reconcile occupant comfort, health, and energy efficiency.
Some key figures :
- 43 years of innovation;
- 800 renovation projects to be completed by 2025;
- 50.000 homes to be rehabilitated by 2025;
- 4.000 orders processed in 2025;
- 2 million extractors installed;
- 115 million m³ of air renewed every day;
- more than 4.200 partner companies.
The company currently has 60 employees. Its growth has been continuous for several years: between 2021 and 2024, we doubled our revenue. Since I joined in 2008, we have increased our revenue fifteenfold.
Batinfo: What are your latest news?
Eric Fraisse: The year 2025 is marked by several new developments that illustrate our desire to constantly innovate.
Last autumn, we launched our new SUPAIR'VENT high-pressure MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) range, which is now certified. This comprehensive range allows us to meet the most demanding configurations in multi-family housing, while guaranteeing a high level of performance and reliability. We also launched SUPAIR'VENT Compact, which complements this offering. These two solutions constitute our first ranges of traditional MVHR systems and now allow us to address 100% of ventilation renovation projects in multi-family residential buildings.
In June, we also launched a new version of our MyVTI.fr configurator. This tool helps specifiers choose the most suitable solution for each project. More intuitive and comprehensive, it simplifies technical studies, improves the reliability of recommendations, and saves significant time. It now allows for the sizing of all renovation projects, including low-pressure and mechanical ventilation systems.
We have also launched the marketing of our new MV2EC extractor, which complements our range dedicated to the energy renovation of collective buildings.
By the end of the year, we will continue to expand our existing product ranges with the launch of two new products: Volt'Air Evolution 4000 and Ventil+ 200. We have also obtained PEP datasheets for several of our solutions, thus strengthening the environmental information available to our customers.
At the same time, we are continuing our investments to support our growth. We are currently setting up new offices, a showroom, a training room, and a new test bench for testing our products before they are marketed.
Batinfo: What are your future plans? How do you see the future of VTI?
Eric Fraisse: We are pursuing a clear objective: to offer the most comprehensive ventilation solution on the market in order to address all the issues encountered in renovation projects for multi-unit buildings.
Our ambition is also to continue our development in the high-pressure ventilation market, whose potential is even greater than that of low-pressure ventilation. This evolution will allow us to offer a comprehensive solution to professionals, regardless of the characteristics of their buildings.
This ambition is accompanied by a strong growth objective, with a turnover that we aim to double compared to today. We are also considering export development, while wanting to support this growth gradually in order to maintain our capacity to meet demand.
By the end of the year, we will continue developing our low-pressure mechanical ventilation ranges to cover an even wider range of configurations. We are also working on a new version of our Infobox Revolution connected ventilation solution, which will enable even more efficient remote control and monitoring of installations. Connectivity is a key driver for improving the operation and maintenance of ventilation systems.
Our strength also lies in our ability to be highly responsive. We deliver to our clients within days and are able to quickly transform feedback from the field into new R&D projects. Between identifying a need and bringing a product to market, six to twelve months typically elapse. This ability to anticipate and this long-term vision are part of our DNA.
We will also continue to meet with our partners at major industry events, including H'Expo and Interclima. In parallel, we are pursuing the development of our training activities. Qualiopi certified, we now have two training centers, one at our headquarters and the other at our Paris region branch in Serris.
Finally, we are continuing our industrial investments. Following the inauguration of our new factory in 2024, we are preparing to expand our production capacity as well as our offices. A new site, adjacent to our existing industrial facility, will allow us to increase our storage and manufacturing capacity. This investment reflects our commitment to sustainable manufacturing in France and to supporting, over the long term, the energy renovation of multi-family residential buildings with increasingly innovative and efficient solutions.
