In 1970 Hauraton designed the 1st channel with galvanized steel angles, in 1974 the 1st fiber-reinforced concrete channel called FASERFIX, in 1995 the 1st channel in recyclable polyethylene, the RECYFIX, and in 1998 the 1st SIDE-LOCK quick locking system. In addition, Hauraton was the first manufacturer of gutters to be ISO 9001 certified in 1993.
