In 1968, Dominique Imbert, the founder of the brand, pulverized all the codes of the traditional fireplace by creating a fireplace with a pioneering organic design that was to revolutionize international design: a suspended, central and 360-degree rotating Gyrofocus!

A true icon of the brand, the Gyrofocus is now taught in schools of architecture, has been voted “La cosa più bella del mondo” by the Italians and has been exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Today, the Gyrofocus exists in a glass version and meets some of the most demanding environmental standards in the world.

Over the years Focus has developed a range of 40 different models, indoor and outdoor, which run on wood or gas. Its eco-efficient wood heating range meets the Ecodesign 2022 regulations. Since its origins, manufacturing has been 100% French: the factory is located in Cavaillon and the head office in Viols-le-Fort (north of Montpellier). The group employs 150 people.

Within the manufacture, manual know-how and the most advanced technologies combine to be able to produce exceptional pieces. Acclaimed by architects around the world, FOCUS exports more than half of its production. In France, a network of distributor-partners covers the entire territory.
