La nouvelle Sunlight glass roof pergola advances on the market as being the first fixed structure, certified for such a light snow load. With its cubic design, it pushes the concept of osmosis with the landscape to the extreme. Its all-glass aspect, with absolute charm, allows an extensive 360-degree view of the outside.
Attached or freestanding, it is the ideal solution for badly exposed terraces or for those who wish to create a space filled with warmth and natural light, a winter garden, an extension to a dining room or a swimming pool enclosure par excellence.
Its main novelty: a roof made of 10 or 12 mm laminated and hardened white laminated glass panels, transparent or opaque, supported by aluminum crosspieces (purlins), reinforced with steel profiles. So many characteristics that have made it possible to create an all-glass surface with as few framing elements as possible to gain luminosity and lightness. The average pitch between these purlins is 80 or 95cm.
To maintain solar protection, the Sunlight glass roof pergola can also be fitted with the Tensionata horizontal roller blind above and below the glass roof. In the ROOF TENS version, the fabric is completely protected in a modern box, in harmony with the structure.
As with our other products, Sunlight can be fitted with Vertika or Line Glass type side closures.
It also has internal lighting thanks to a system of LED strips integrated in the transoms (purlins) of the glass roof as well as on the upper perimeter, which make Sunlight functional at all times.
Its installation adapts to all types of environment thanks to 3 different floor fixing systems.
Its flat roof (inclined at only 2% for water flow at the front of the structure) and its standard height of 2500mm make it easy to lean the structure against the house.
Its differences with pergolas
Sunlight is a pergola with a more opulent fixed glass roof. The upper profiles are, in fact, larger and the dimensions of a module achievable in 4 posts more restricted. This is due to a heavier glass roof and the possibility of integrating, without altering the basic aesthetics of the product, a Vertika vertical blind and/or Line Glass panoramic glazing to completely close the pergola and ensure its new space protection against wind, lateral sun or opposite.
Structure mainly fixed and certified for snow load, it requires an authorization request.
Why choose the Sunlight glass roof pergola?
Its fixed aluminum structure offers exceptional performance for annual use even in bad weather, ensuring load resistance and a watertight structure. Indeed, the roof being fixed, seals below and above the glass are placed all along the perimeter and anti-drip, drainer and anti-splash systems allow regular routing of water to the gutters, integrated in the facade. . The evacuation of the water is then ensured by an 80mm tubed column. The addition of gaskets and specific profiles lock the glasses.
This fixed glass roof certifies the structure to the snow load and improves thermal comfort compared to a classic pergola, limiting the passage of air.
In this, Sunlight presents itself as the first modular and scalable fixed structure.
Sunlight is a glass roof pergola that can be closed with the usual side closing systems such as the Line Glass sliding panoramic glazing or the Vertika awning. The wide variety of fabrics (transparent, filtering and blackout) makes it possible to obtain the desired level of protection/intimacy. Once closed, Vertika completely disappears inside the structure, supporting a linear design.
This makes it the ideal intermediary between the pergola and the veranda, meeting a need for brightness and thermal comfort.
A response to strong market demand
Indeed, opening 360° on the panorama, its fixed structure and its glass roof, made up of panels designed in the largest technically possible dimensions, allow a high resistance and a significant perception of luminosity. This makes it suitable for creating a house extension on a badly exposed terrace or even an economically more reliable swimming pool enclosure. The glass roof, allowing the sun's rays to pass through, can effectively maintain the heat of the air or water.
Sun protection and privacy are also important points maintained by the integration of the horizontal and vertical awning in micro-perforated canvas in the structure of the pergola with a glass roof.
