Attics offer many possibilities in terms of architecture and interior design. Mansard roofs can accommodate large windows that provide natural light, panoramic views of the outdoors and, most importantly, the possibility of creating a balcony.

Thus, FAKRO created the FGH-V Gallery, an innovative window which, when opened, forms a real balcony and provides additional space.

This allows you to receive more natural light, to be in contact with the environment and to benefit from panoramic views, which greatly contributes to well-being and daily fulfillment.

The FGH-V Galeria window transforms into a balcony when both leaves are open.
The upper part opens by projecting upwards, while the lower part opens by projecting forwards, creating a balcony. The upper frame can tilt up to 45° and can be held in the desired position using an innovative mechanism. The side safety barriers are integrated into the lower frame and slide during opening.

To close the window, the latches located near the frame rails must be released.
When closing the lower sash, the balcony rails are hidden inside the window and are only visible above the roof surface. They therefore do not collect dirt and do not spoil the aesthetics of the roof. Once the balcony is opened, the rails are always dry and clean, which contributes to smooth operation.

The Galeria balcony window ensures the highest level of security. The TopSafe system provides operational safety and is resistant to break-ins. The standard window format is equipped with triple insulating glazing with laminated, burglar-resistant inner glass classified P2A.

In case of damage, the pieces of glass remain stuck to the film to eliminate any risk of accident. The glazing is equipped with a tempered external glass offering a lifetime guarantee against hail.

Another important element of the Galeria window is its automatic air inlet V40P. Thanks to an adjustable duct area, it provides the optimal amount of air that guarantees a healthy microclimate in the room and ensures energy savings.
