Rockin Bag System from ROCKWOOL is a thermal insulation system by blowing rock wool for converted or convertible attic slopes composed of nodulated rock wool (Rockin L), the Rockbag bag and adhesive which allows the end of the bags to be closed and the insufflation holes.

The technique consists of blowing, using an electric machine, loose rock wool into the Rockbag bags. Insufflation is carried out from the outside after partially stripping the tiles into horizontal lines. Highly efficient, Rockin L rock wool for insufflation guarantees excellent thermal performance with a thermal conductivity of 0,036 W/mK and offers on average 3°C more thermal comfort, i.e. 20% energy savings observed after installation.

The Rockbag bag is made up of three parts:

• A vapor barrier membrane sd value 20
• An HPV under-roof screen (high water vapor permeance)
• A decompression grid on 1 side.

Energy savings, acoustic comfort and permanent insulation without interior work

With Rockin Bag System, blowing rock wool into the slopes of converted or convertible attics offers many advantages for both installers and customers.

For the end customer, Rockin Bag System allows you to protect your already fitted attic from heat and cold without any work inside and to contribute to acoustic comfort for a quieter interior without any loss of living space. The performance of insulating attic slopes by mechanized blowing is durable with permanent insulation. A technique which allows you to benefit from all the qualities of rock wool such as its excellent fire resistance, classified Euroclass A1, its rot resistance and its durability over 65 years. The project is quicker and less expensive than external insulation. Rockin Bag System is eligible for financial aid.

For the installer, Rockin Bag System is the only solution allowing the renovation of attic roof slopes from the outside without completely removing the cover. It is three to four times faster than insulation of the roof from the outside. This complete system, under ATEx, is considered a common technique. Rockin Bag System adapts to all types of roofing and frames.
