Remote SS4 asbestos training, it's possible!

An e-learning solution to make it easier for you to comply with SS4 regulations

For a technical or site supervisor, it is not always easy to block a full week in his schedule. This is why AC Environnement wanted to facilitate access to its training by adapting its courses to the distance format.

Thus, of the 35 hours needed for the initial SS4 training, 28 hours were transformed into a digital version. These course hours are accessible 24 hours a day, 24 days a week, everyone is free to organize their training time as they see fit. A real saving of time, but also money thanks to the economy of travel and even accommodation.

A last day of face-to-face training is to be expected anyway. It can be given in one of the centers ASE Training or intra-company thanks to a mobile platform that travels to the customer's premises.

SS4 training: an obligation

In order to protect its workers when the presence of asbestos is found on a site, companies are obliged to respect asbestos regulations, subsection 4 (SS4) of the Labor Code.

For this, all workers working on a site likely to expose them to asbestos fibers must be trained. They must be equipped with personal protection (PPE) adapted to asbestos and know which operating methods to use.

Warning ! The labor inspectorate is strengthening its controls and infringements of the rules can be severely punished: The health of workers and the sustainability of the company are at stake.
