Rainwater recovery: TuboSTORE® by ViaCon France

Faced with current environmental challenges and crises linked to water management, rainwater harvesting is emerging as a simple, economical and ecological solution.

All "clean" surfaces (roofs, photovoltaic canopies, etc.) can collect thousands of liters of water to be stored and then reused for uses that require large quantities: watering sports complexes, municipal greenhouses, golf courses, toilet networks (public buildings such as middle schools, high schools, schools, etc.), washing stations, etc. There are many needs for various uses. Replacing tap water with rainwater for these needs helps preserve drinking water for essential uses such as drinking or cooking. Preserve the resource, then.

Storing roof water also limits runoff and can thus prevent the risk of flooding by relieving the sewerage networks during heavy rain.

ViaCon France brings you the solution with its TuboSTORE® tanks

French manufacturer since 1987, ViaCon France manufactures large-volume tanks and reservoirs dedicated to rainwater recovery with its TuboSTORE® range. Made of recyclable galvanized steel and sized for a minimum service life of 50 years, TuboSTORE® structures store water from 1 m³ to infinity with a custom manufacturing process (range up to Ø3000 mm and 21 ml or 150 m³ in the single-block tank version). With its innovative large-diameter flange connection system, ViaCon can thus offer structures of several thousand liters or even m³; the largest to date was delivered in Italy in 2023 as part of a rainwater recovery project to supply rice fields, financed by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and Europe. Storage of more than 5500 m³.

But France remains a pioneer in this field since ViaCon delivered the first tanks dedicated solely to the recovery of rainwater for reuse more than 20 years ago for Municipal Technical Centers, football stadiums (Groupama Stadium in Lyon for example) and more recently 1000 m³ for the Hippodromes of Lyon.

TuboSTORE® tanks can be delivered with pre-filters and pumps sized according to needs. A recent project was carried out for the municipal greenhouses of Nancy with the delivery of a 240 m³ TuboSTORE® tank equipped with pumps and boosters to supply a drip network.
