It is intended for constructions or extensions on crawl spaces of individual and collective housing of first and second family, and for non-residential buildings (schools, daycare centers, hotels, town halls, shops... up to R+3). It allows to treat all heat losses in one go whether they are surface (thanks to the Isoleader polystyrene insulating interjoists), peripheral (thanks to the EcoRupteur longitudinal and transverse thermal bridge breakers) or at the level of the partition (thanks to the EcoRefend thermal bridge breakers)*.
Always at the forefront of innovation, KP1 continues its commitments to energy efficiency, in line with the requirements of RE2020. At the beginning of March, it launched the marketing of its new " EcoRupteur L+ ". This solution reinforces the overall thermal performance of the Milliwatt insulating floor according to the needs of the site. Fixed directly on the Isoleader interjoist, theEcoRupteur L+ is also synonymous with ease of implementation and time savings. The installation company no longer needs to install beams on the periphery and systematically begins the implementation on an entire interjoist, without additional cutting. This results in fewer materials and less waste, contributing to the decarbonization of the building. The absence of beams on the edge also eliminates possible conflicts with wastewater drainage downpipes.
* These solutions are installed on LS or GP156 beams with a span of 2,40 to 5,60 m without props. An ISOLEADER Modulo interjoist can also be used to easily manage demodulated spans.
The KP1 floor on crawl space, a response to multiple challenges
Le Milliwatt KP1 insulating floor on crawl space is suitable for all types of land and meets the requirements of the ELAN law. This solution limits the risks associated with an accumulation of humidity and radon, caused by poor quality soils. It therefore constitutes a guarantee of sustainability for the structure. The construction is healthy, contributing to the interior comfort of the occupants. Practical, it also simplifies access to pipes and drains. It complies with fire, seismic and acoustic regulations.
A frugal prefabricated system
By putting the right amount of materials in the right place, the Milliwatt KP1 Insulating Floor combines thermal performance with a reduced environmental footprint. Its carbon impact amounts to 37,2 kg eq. CO2/m2 compared to:
- 45,2 kg CO2 eq./m2 for a CEM III concrete slab with a 100 mm polyurethane plate, i.e. an 18% reduction in CO2 emissions,
- 43,6 kg CO2 eq./m2 for a Duo system (insulating interjoist + insulation added in floating screed), i.e. a carbon weight reduced by 15%.
It has the lightest system on the market with a reduced compression slab reaching 4 cm, the thinnest on the market. KP1 designs its solutions to also limit waste on the construction site as much as possible. It relies on the construction plans to deliver the exact number of breakers. Its Isoleader Modulo solution also makes it possible to manage demodulated spans. For spans with a center distance of less than 60 cm, it can be cut to the right size and clipped.
A “Heating/Cooling” version
Milliwatt is available in the "Thermak Heating/Cooling" insulating floor version to guarantee thermal comfort in all seasons. A 2-in-1 solution that allows you to control energy consumption while preserving the interior well-being of the occupants thanks to tempered water circulating in the pipes (air-water exchanger).
