Cyclosecure 30: Alkern strengthens the safety of cycling infrastructure

Faced with the rise in cycling, local authorities are paying particular attention to the safety of cycling infrastructure. It is within this context that Alkern is expanding its Cyclosecure range with a new curb designed to better protect users while ensuring a clear separation between different traffic areas.

Introduced in 2025, the Cyclosecure range meets the recommendations made by Cerema regarding cycling infrastructure. Its design, without sharp edges on the track side, promotes a so-called "forgiving" approach, reducing the consequences of any deviation from the intended trajectory.

The new Cyclosecure 30 curb, measuring 1000 × 300 × 250 mm, features an even more gradual slope. This design improves cyclist safety while maintaining effective separation between motorized traffic lanes, cycle paths, and pedestrian walkways.

To meet the aesthetic requirements of development projects, Cyclosecure 30 is available in eight finishes: Pink Porphyry, White Quartz, Yellow Limestone, Hourtin, Cotentin Beige, Basalt, Granite 74, and Granite. This range of colors facilitates its integration in both urban and suburban environments.

With this new reference, Alkern continues the development of solutions dedicated to public spaces and completes its offer for communities, which also includes curbs, gutters, bus platforms, cane guides and traffic islands.
