Appointment | Géraldine Squenel, new director of communications and external relations of the Scientific and Technical Building Center (CSTB) Appointed by Etienne Crépon, president of the CSTB, Géraldine Squenel has mainly worked in the public sphere. The responsibilities entrusted to him allowed him to develop a strong political sense and 360° expertise in his areas of expertise: communication and media relations. -
Appointment | Eric Coignoux, new Operational Director Editions – Training at CSTB Etienne Crépon, president of the Center Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB), entrusts operational management of Editions–Formations to Eric Coignoux, who has been its deputy director since 2016. The Editions–Formations department manages one of the key activities of the CSTB : contribute to the sharing of scientific and technical knowledge and its appropriation by building and city stakeholders. -
Digital Tools | The CSTB launches Ecoscale: Environmental assessment at the service of the circularity of construction products and equipment On Tuesday 4 April, in the presence of players in the construction sector, the CSTB launched ECOSCALE, a tool for evaluating the circularity of building products and equipment, based on four indicators covering the entire life cycle: recycled materials & renewables, dismantling, reusability and recyclability. -
Study / Review / Report | National Buildings Database: an identity sheet for each building to follow the evolution of the existing stock and help with its renovation On February 14, Nadia Bouyer, president of the Profeel program, Etienne Crépon, president of the Center Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) and Philippe Estingoy, general manager of the Agence Qualité Construction (AQC), presented the National Database of Buildings (BDNB®) and shared feedback from the first users. -
