Suitable for heating in winter and air cooling in summer, the new Zehnder ComfoTube Therm 90 and Zehnder ComfoTube Therm flat 51 insulated ventilation ducts not only offer high-performance buildings a solution that limits pressure drops and heat losses, but also prevent condensation generated by excessive temperature differences.

High thermal performance

Zehnder dual-flow ventilation solutions recover coolness in summer and heat in winter. Adapting automatically, they are a sustainable way to create a healthy and comfortable indoor climate in a home in all seasons. Equipped with a 9 mm thick outer layer of cellular rubber insulation, the new ranges of semi-rigid HDPE conduits Zehnder Comfotube Therm 90 and Zehnder Comfotube Therm flat 51 (oblong and extra flat) contribute to thermal performance of the ventilation system.

Insulated, these new ducts make it possible to limit pressure drops, avoid condensation, but also to reduce heat losses linked to the network, between the coil and the blower. They are particularly suitable for short duct lengths (less than 10 meters) thanks to their good thermal conductivity: λ=0,035 W/m*K at 20°C.

Flexible

Since the insulation layer is not glued, the ventilation ducts retain their full radius of curvature in order to easily integrate into the architecture of the building (in the false ceiling, on the floor or behind partitions).

Sustainable

The new insulated ducts are made of a corrugated outer wall and a smooth inner wall, Clinside, favoring cleaning at more than 98% and guaranteeing the durability of the whole. Seamless, the insulation layer is not likely to come off over time.

Assembly simple and rapid

Delivered insulated, the Zehnder Comfotube Therm and Zehnder Comfotube Therm flat 51 ducts are ready to install and therefore do not require additional labor time.

Zehnder ComfoFit Therm insulated connection sleeves in expanded polypropylene complete this network offer in order to make connections without thermal bridges.
