Ynov and Formica® launch the national Interior Architecture competition “Talents d'Archi”

Ynov and Formica Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-pressure laminates, announce the launch of “Talents d’Archi,” a national interior design competition for high school seniors and Ynov interior design students. The final of this event will be held on May 16, 2025 at the Couvent des Récollets, Maison de l’Architecture, in Paris.

A competition around creativity and innovation

Participants will be tasked with designing the layout of a 4 m² 20-star hotel room, made exclusively with laminates from the Formica®, FENIX® and Homapal® ranges. This project will allow them to express their creativity by imagining a space that is elegant, functional and innovative, meeting the requirements of the hotel sector in terms of design, comfort and sustainability.

A springboard to excellence

The competition has two categories, offering prestigious rewards:

High School Talents Prize: one year of study offered in the 1st year Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture (value €7.800) on the Ynov campus of their choice.
Ynov Talents Prize: the creation of the furniture prototype by Formica Group, and presentation of the creation during various events organized by Formica Group including Paris Design Week 2025.
