The Mondial du Bâtiment has established itself as the influential event on all subjects related to the transformation of the sector and in particular energy renovation, embodied by the presence of various Renodays spaces. The event was able to count on the presence and strong involvement of the sector's federations and the new government represented by two experienced and leading ministers in the challenges of the sector.
For Jean-Philippe Guillon, Director of the Construction Division of RX France and Director of Mondial du Bâtiment: "The increase in the number of participants at Mondial du Bâtiment 2024 demonstrates that the event is more than ever the unmissable meeting place for professionals in the sector. With our partners at Uniclima and Afisb, we are particularly proud and happy with the momentum displayed during these 4 days. The activities and innovations presented on the stands, the quality of the meetings praised by the vast majority of participants and the audience success of all the numerous conferences confirm that a trade fair remains a unique moment to discover and learn in an energizing atmosphere. It is therefore with confidence and desire that we invite the sector to the second edition of the Renodays Forum on October 7 and 8, 2025 to continue exploring the key topic of energy renovation of housing and the tertiary sector."
An unpublished edition
For this new edition organized again in Paris, the Mondial du Bâtiment 2024 occupied new exhibition pavilions at the Porte de Versailles, in particular to respond to the arrival of EQUIPBAIE-METALEXPO alongside the 3 historic trade fairs BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN, INTERCLIMA. The Mondial du Bâtiment was thus able to welcome 2022 exhibitors, an increase of 15% compared to the previous edition, with a balanced volume of French and international exhibitors (50%).
Overall, over 4 days, the Mondial du Bâtiment, with the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN, INTERCLIMA and EQUIPBAIE/METALEXPO trade fairs, welcomed more than 135.000 participants.
An event at the heart of the debates
Mobilized by the organizers of the Mondial du Bâtiment, representatives of Michel Barnier's brand new government were able to meet professionals in the sector and demonstrate through their presence the importance of the issues facing the sector and the challenges it must face.
Valérie Létard, Minister of Housing and Urban Renewal, affirmed her commitment to the success of the sector, and, at the Renodays area of BATIMAT, focused on the crucial issues of energy renovation, while paying close attention to the needs and challenges of the climate engineering sector.
Françoise Gatel, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Partnership with Territories and Decentralization, responsible for Rurality, Trade and Crafts, highlighted the state's commitment to VSEs and SMEs in the sector.
A unique conference program
Organised in a difficult market context, the Mondial du Bâtiment 2024 invited all stakeholders in the sector to change their perspectives through four key themes: adaptation, innovation, territories and Women & Men in construction.
These major topics were supported by a rich program of speeches, offered in different formats, carried out on 14 different stages, materialized by more than 350 conferences and animations and carried by more than 700 speakers. A particular focus was placed on renovation with a program of Renotalks and the arrival of RENODAYS on BATIMAT and INTERCLIMA.
Innovations and new products in the spotlight
An unmissable and highly anticipated event for exhibitors and visitors alike, the Innovation Awards recorded 228 applications (+36% compared to 2022) during this edition of Mondial du Bâtiment. A figure never reached before and proof of the great dynamism of the sector.
Exhibitors also had the opportunity to declare their new products exhibited for this edition. Innovations and new products were highlighted on the three Awards Spaces, located at the entrance to the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA shows. Visitors found all the information there thanks to video pitches and complete descriptions, available on interactive screens.
Decarbonization: exemplary actions and unique events
Based on the results of an environmental impact study conducted during the 2022 edition, the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA 2024 trade fairs have deployed concrete, varied and targeted actions. These actions focused on 3 essential items: travel of exhibitors and visitors, purchases of goods and services, waste management, etc. Objective: to continue their commitment to net 0 carbon by 2040.
Another major action, BATIMAT hosted Climate Sense, a unique immersive experience imagined by Christian Clot, explorer-researcher, Founder and CEO of the Human Adaptation Institute designed to simulate a space and life situations allowing to realize the realities of a life at +50°C. Ministers, Presidents of professional organizations, visitors to the Mondial du Bâtiment were thus immersed for 30 minutes in these conditions, and were able to concretely understand the impacts of extreme climates on the human body and health, social organizations and the planet.
Please note: the next two meetings offered by the RX France Construction Division

The organizers are already working on the next edition of the Mondial du Bâtiment. The event has already been set for comparable dates, from September 28 to October 1, 2026, at Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles.
