Since its beginnings in 2018, Wonder Partner's imagine has been developing brand concepts and experiences using augmented reality. In full expansion, the Nantes start-up is experiencing tremendous growth and is already present on 3 continents.
Witnessing the changes that have taken place in the retail world in the face of the health crisis, the start-up launched an augmented reality solution last June to help e-merchants cope with store closings. Until now reserved for behemoths, this unprecedented solution, “Augmented shop”, allows ALL retailers, from SMEs to large groups, to offer augmented reality experiences on their e-commerce site. In a few clicks, the customer can visualize at home the piece of furniture that they covet before buying online or even virtually try on the pair of sneakers that catches their eye.
From the outset, the solution was a resounding success. The start-up signs with Carrefour, MACIF, Renault or even a famous Haute-Couture house, and many others. Solicited by players in the construction industry, the start-up worked on a variation adapted to the constraints of the sector.
“The construction industry is a very dynamic sector which is in demand for innovation and technology but there are, for the moment, only few offers. Following the launch of this solution, we observed strong demand from several development players, interested in the potential of a tool allowing their customers to easily project themselves. For many people, it's hard to tell how much space a staircase will take, the measurements of a radiator, or the color of the shutters when looking at a catalog. There, in 1 click, the sales representative can project the staircase, window or door directly into the interior of the customer who sees the result as it will definitely be. It is a real sales support tool for salespeople and an additional service for their customers who can help them plan and make their decision ” explains Alexis Thomas, CEO and co-founder of Wonder Partner's.
Wonder Partners solutions are turnkey and are aimed at all building and furnishing professionals, No need for specific technical skills. The tool is very easy to use and is intended for all product ranges (windows, doors, stairs, etc.).
How does it work?
Concretely, the company imports its products in a few clicks on a dedicated platform. Via an interface, the retail salesperson only has to select the product that his customer has chosen. It scans the location of the house where the product will eventually be installed. The product appears in actual size in the chosen location. The salesperson can change the color, the finishes, the dimensions with a few clicks. The customer can thus have a very concrete idea of the project, help in the final decision. To extend and share the experience, the customer receives a web link by text or email to view their choice without an application, directly from their smartphone.
