With the acquisition of Sys ENR, the Butagaz group is developing its photovoltaic solar offers

The Butagaz group, a key player in solar energy solutions and sustainable services available throughout France.

Rooted in France for 90 years, the Butagaz group made a strategic shift in 2017 to become a multi-energy and multi-service group. With the majority acquisition of Soltéa and Solewa, leading regional French companies and experts in the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar power plants, the Group is strengthening its deployment in the local energy transition and has been offering, since 2021, photovoltaic solar solutions to professionals.

Today, the Butagaz group confirms its ambition in favor of the decarbonization of companies through the nationwide deployment of its new services. With the acquisition of the French company, Sys EnR, which offers design, construction and maintenance services for solar photovoltaic and solar thermal installations, the Butagaz group is consolidating its expertise by combining high-level know-how in as a specialist in solar energy and a long-standing experience in supporting the energy transition of its customers.

The acquisition of Sys EnR endorses the development of the Butagaz group's strategy towards more virtuous and sustainable energies. It is also in line with the Butagaz group's strategy of offering multi-energy offers associated with multi-service offers. The Group has already been offering advice and assistance for the installation of solar panels for several years.

These energy solutions of the future, economical and carbon-free, are added to other services (neutralisation of fuel oil tanks, energy management in the tertiary sector, installation of electric charging stations, etc.) and energies (biopropane, biomethane, electricity green, wood pellets, etc. developed by the Butagaz group to help its customers consume less and better.

A synergy of expertise at the service of decarbonization

In a context of dual energy and climate crisis, the development of sustainable energy solutions and services is a priority. Thanks to the pooling of their expertise, the Butagaz group, its solar subsidiaries Soltéa, Solewa and Sys EnR intend to increase their presence with professional customers and facilitate their energy transition. With 49 employees and 10 million euros in turnover in 2022, Sys EnR occupies a leading position in the commercial and industrial segment and in self-consumption projects across France. Since its creation in 2007, Sys Enr has carried out more than 500 installations for a total installed capacity of over 300MW. Among its references, major groups such as Lidl (distributor) or even Spirit (developer) or Argan (developer of logistics buildings) have called on the expertise of the teams.
