With E-Massif, Alkern supports the development of charging station installations up to 22 KW

In a context of environmental transition where the electricity system is a real issue, Alkern is positioning itself more than ever as a strategic player on the subject of sustainable development. With its E-Massif concept, an anchoring mass optimized for charging stations up to 22 KW, Alkern supports professionals in the massification of charging station installations intended for electric vehicles.

If its two-element design ensures broad compatibility with all charging stations on the market, it should be noted that this Alkern response combines a number of advantages.

First and foremost, there is exemplary handling by two people, synonymous with ease and speed of implementation, without the use of lifting equipment...

Another advantage of E-Massif is its compactness since the addition of feet on the base guarantees excellent stability, despite its low height (slab + base of only 40 cm) as well as possible transport in a light vehicle. Note also that this ingenious response from Alkern proves to be particularly economical (in particular by avoiding the formwork time and drying times inherent to concrete masses cast in place) and the source of immediate commissioning of terminal.

Not to mention that E-Massif also plays the ecological card. Indeed, the weight and quantity of cement are optimized thanks to a factory manufacturing process, knowing that Alkern is already announcing the upcoming availability of a variant incorporating recycled aggregates (GBR).

On the technical side, let us point out that E-Massif is offered in two elements. Its base (500 mm wide by 300 mm high / 63 kg) makes it possible to respond to various construction site configurations thanks to its 3 openings in the upper part and its reservation in the central part under the base.

Its standard slab (400 mm side by 100 mm high/36 kg) is designed to directly support threaded rods on site, while ideally adapting to the greatest number of charging station suppliers.

Let us mention that the standard slabs have a choice of a reservation for a D63 duct or a reservation for the passage of two ducts.

And to go even further in a service approach, the manufacturer proposes to make this solution universal by providing, on order, a slab with pre-installed anchors custom-made in the factory; a turnkey solution again combining quality and speed of implementation.
