With Campus, Rockwool is focusing on training professionals to restore confidence and relaunch energy renovation

Faced with demand, it is essential that owners and co-owners can count on trusted professionals. While the RGE label guarantees access to aid and attests to quality, training craftsmen remains the key link in ensuring efficient insulation, accelerating the energy transition and countering dubious practices.

For over 10 years, ROCKWOOL Campus has been offering training courses enabling craftsmen and building professionals to acquire or strengthen their insulation skills, particularly in connection with obtaining the RGE (Recognized Environmental Guarantor) label.

Restoring confidence and accelerating energy renovation

Fake construction sites, overcharging or even misleading commercial practices, fraud, particularly at the EEC, regularly makes headlines. They harm consumer confidence and slow down the energy transition. If the authorities strengthen controls and sanctions to combat these practices, owners or co-owners must be able to count on reliable and qualified craftsmen.

Through its ROCKWOOL Campus program, the world leader in stone wool insulation, offers immersive training courses lasting one to three days allowing building professionals to acquire or strengthen their insulation skills. Since its creation, more than 2 craftsmen have been trained, with an annual rate of 700 to 150 professionals. These sessions welcome both experienced craftsmen and professionals in retraining wishing to broaden their skills. While offering training adapted to the real needs of insulation professionals in terms of mastery of installation techniques and regulatory requirements (blowing in unused attics, ITE insulation, fundamentals of stone wool, etc.), ROCKWOOL Campus allows a relationship of trust to be established with craftsmen.

A training offer for construction professionals

Within the ROCKWOOL Campus, teaching is distinguished by a comprehensive educational approach, combining theory and practice through implementation workshops. These training courses guarantee that trainees maintain their knowledge and skills in order to remain within the standards of the Unified Technical Documents (DTU). Since 2022, ROCKWOOL has been QUALIOPI certified, guaranteeing the quality of the training courses offered and allowing trainees to benefit from financial support for training costs.

The ROCKWOOL Campus, with a permanent training center near Saint-Éloy-les-Mines (Puy-de-Dôme), focuses on proximity to companies and adapts to their specific needs. To strengthen its impact throughout the territory, it relies on a network of partners, including CFA, where training is also provided to students. This approach makes it possible to anticipate developments in the sector and prepare future generations of craftsmen.

In order to guarantee optimal accessibility, each session is subject to a preliminary study. This allows us to adapt the course of the training, the teaching methods and the animation according to the specific needs of the participants, particularly those with disabilities.

For the past two years, ROCKWOOL has also been offering an e-learning offering via a dedicated platform on its website. This digital training complements the face-to-face offering and offers several advantages, such as preparation in advance or further study after the face-to-face training, or an alternative for professionals with little time.

Finally, the Campus integrates innovative technologies, such as virtual reality modules, for a more realistic and interactive immersion in installation techniques.
