wedi exclusively markets surface heating solutions from Gutjahr

wedi France and Gutjahr, two companies within the Ardex Group, are combining their expertise to offer building professionals high-performance, easy-to-install surface heating solutions. wedi is now distributing Gutjahr's IndorTec® THERM-E and IndorTec® THERM-C products in France. This collaboration allows for the combination of Gutjahr's surface heating technologies with wedi's modular panels and systems, creating a unique synergy for installers and end users.

Comfort, energy efficiency and ease of installation

wedi IndorTec® THERM-E is an electric surface heating system for floors and walls, quick and easy to install thanks to its studded mat with a non-woven backing. The unique geometry of this mat reduces the air space under the studs by 38% compared to competing systems on the market, offering high thermal performance and approximately 11% savings on electricity consumption.

The Grip Lock system secures the cable, allowing it to be perfectly encased in adhesive mortar or leveling compound, thus enabling the installation of all types of floor coverings. The unique textured design of this mat prevents any risk of the heating cable bending.

The IndorTec® THERM-C is an innovative, ultra-thin (0,4 mm) low-voltage (24 V) wall-mounted heater compatible with tiles, plaster, polished concrete, and other wall coverings. Its factory-pre-installed power cable ensures a quick and secure connection without the need for additional electrical work.

This system can be cut or drilled and installed at any time, even during renovations. The IndorTec® THERM-C, controlled via a programmable digital thermostat, can replace a towel warmer in a bathroom, saving space and offering immediate comfort with low energy consumption.
