After Spain, Canada, Portugal, Luxembourg and Belgium, WC Loc continues its expansion in Europe with the acquisition in May of Toi Toi Italia. A buyout which allows the company to become a major player in the Italian market. “We have 13 agencies which cover the North of Italy as far as Rome and which will allow us to offer WC Loc services in both the construction site and events sectors” underlines Hervé Montagne, president of the Enygea group.
Thanks to its 80 employees and the recruitment of a new Italian director and a QHSE manager, WC Loc's ambition is to continue to grow. With nearly 2500 customers and great references such as the Ryder Cup, WC Loc Italia will offer the same quality services as in Europe and wishes to develop its subsidiary in the field of CSR with the reuse of water from installations, the use photovoltaic panels or even the implementation of clean transport. “The potential remains significant for us in terms of commercial development. Toi Toi Italia was well established on the construction sites and we hope to deploy on the events side, which is very present in Italy” indicates Hervé Montagne, President of the WC Loc Group.
Expansion in Europe and development in France
The only expert in mobile toilets present throughout mainland France, WC Loc now has 52 agencies and depots across France with strong roots in each region. The objective being to offer hygiene for everyone and everywhere, WC Loc promotes its autonomous sanitary solutions and continues its development. It must be said that according to an OPPBTP study, nearly
40% of construction sites do not have suitable facilities, while 90% of French employees consider hygiene to be a motivating factor at work.
“Development in the sector remains important today by offering quality service and a complete hygiene solution. The company also has customer proximity as its primary focus because responsiveness is essential in our business” underlines François Deleglise, Managing Director WC Loc France.
To respond to this, the company recently opened 3 new depots in Normandy, Aquitaine and the Center West and plans to set up a 4th depot in the South of France. Added to these deposits is the acquisition of WC Plus in St Gratien in Val d'Oise. With this agency, WC
Loc is strengthening its presence in departments 92, 93, 95 and 78. On the outskirts of Orléans, the takeover of Sologne Sanit Loc also makes it possible to meet the demands of Loiret and Loir-et-Cher.
A health expert focusing on the circular economy and respect for the environment
A committed player in the territories, WC Loc focuses on the circular economy and local partners and is part of a strong CSR approach, keen to minimize its impact on the planet. With a forecast of 60 million turnover in 2023 for France, it has 350 employees. And, the company is also recruiting in the region. Since January, more than 100 employees have been recruited and new recruitments are underway.
A true anchor of its CSR commitment, the WC Loc group acts on a daily basis to preserve the environment through various innovative actions. Thus, all of the group's ranges consume very little water thanks to technologies such as dry toilets, waterless female and male urinals, the vacuum system and recirculation. The development of dry toilet ranges is also at the heart of WC Loc’s strategy. An environmental approach appreciated by large groups such as Vinci, Eiffage, Colas, the Tour de France, Les Vieilles Charrues or Hellfest.
