Watts expands its range of iDROSET Series CF valves for balancing domestic hot water networks with an ACS certified version

With its iDROSET CF Series range marketed 1 year ago, Watts already enabled professionals to meet this requirement on heating networks.

Today, Watts goes further and presents an ACS certified version of its iDROSET valve, specially designed to equip looped domestic hot water networks.

A reliable solution for balancing the DHW circulation

More complex than on a heating and air conditioning system, balancing a domestic hot water circuit requires the installation and precise adjustment, on each of its loops, of a balancing valve so as to obtain a flow rate calculated in accordance with the DTU (NF DTU 60.11 P1-2 of August 10, 2013). To avoid adjustment inaccuracies and any risk of clogging, the opening of the valve must correspond to a fluid passage of at least 1 mm.

To help professionals succeed in this operation in indoor installations of residential or office buildings, Watts offers an ACS certified version of its range of iDROSET CF Series valves. Issued by the Directorate General of Health, this Certificate of Sanitary Conformity thus authorizes its use for balancing water networks intended for human consumption.

With an innovative design, balancing valves with ACS approval benefit from the same advantages as the entire iDROSET CF Series range from Watts:

With a nominal pressure of 16 Bar and an operating temperature of -10 to 110 ° C, the iDROSET Series CF balancing valves in the ACS version combine performance, simplicity and time savings.

Another novelty, for the design and sizing of hydraulic networks under renovation, Watts also offers a new version with ISO 228 F / F threaded connection, specially developed to overcome connection difficulties in confined spaces.
