Wargon launches two new CEE programs to support training and innovation in the building sector

To deal with the climate emergency, the Government has set itself ambitious objectives to reduce France's energy consumption, particularly in the building sector, which today represents 43% of France's annual energy consumption and 23% of greenhouse gas emissions. One of the conditions for achieving these objectives is the mobilization of all professionals in energy renovation, training and innovation.

The "OSCAR" program run by the Association Technique Energie Environnement (ATEE) and for which the Minister signed the implementation agreement today, responds to the demand for training for craftsmen and building companies on renovation aid energy. The program will train around 6 referents on renovation aid, direct contacts for craftsmen and companies. It will create several tools to facilitate the integration of aid in the overall management of their sites (from the estimate to the closing of the site). This program benefits from funding of €000 million.

The Minister also signed the PROFEEL 2 program agreement, led by the Construction Quality Agency (AQC) and the Scientific and Technical Center for Building (CSTB), which benefits from funding of €35 million. The program is based on tools already produced in PROFEEL, benefiting from funding of €24,5 million, from 2019 to 2021, and provides innovative responses adapted to the needs of professionals in the field through 8 projects allowing to address two major challenges:

• Promote efficient renovation decisions and thus increase the volume of renovation work,
• Secure the achievement of the desired performance and improve the quality of the renovation work undertaken.
