For the second consecutive year, VM BUILDING SOLUTIONS and its VMZINC® brand have been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis, a global platform for evaluating the CSR performance of companies.
This distinction reflects the French zinc manufacturer's commitment to CSR. Its rating score reached 63/100, up 5 points compared to 2021. It thus places VMZINC® in the top quarter of its “building industry” category.
EcoVadis' goal is to make CSR actions measurable, increase transparency with customers and drive progress. Its assessment covers 4 areas: Environment, Social and Human Rights, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing. At 4 points from the Gold medal, VMZINC® will multiply its actions, such as the optimization of resources (water, energy), to reach the Top 5% of companies in its category that perform the most in terms of CSR.
