A major player in the market for closures and home protection, SOPROFEN announces the appointment of Vincent Pigou to the position of Deputy General Manager of Industry in order to ensure the development of the company within the Bouyer Leroux group to which it belongs.
He succeeds Jean-Michel Paucod, who has exercised his retirement rights and will leave his position in the second half of 2025.
A graduate engineer from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts & Métiers, Vincent Pigou has over 30 years of experience within leading multi-site industrial groups in France and internationally, where he successively held responsibility for the R&D Studies and Projects departments, then Quality before becoming Director of Operations.
At 56, he joined SOPROFEN at the end of 2024 to work in tandem with Jean-Michel Paucod until June 2025 in order to secure this key mission in the development of the industrial group and guarantee quality production, delivered according to customer expectations.
Based in Mertzwiller (67) and reporting to Emmanuel Lesage, Managing Director, he is responsible for the directors of the 8 production sites in France (Mertzwiller, Froideconche, Champagney, Marssac sur Tarn, Lassay, Cholet) and in Belgium (Lokeren, Charleroi) as well as the Methods Manager.
Member of the CODIR alongside the R&D, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Trade & Development departments, his mission will be to manage industrial, logistics, methods and quality activities on the national and Belgian territory. At the same time, he will also contribute to implementing industrial synergies with the West Pole of Closures for Housing of the Bouyer Leroux Group.
