Vimar presents new smart solutions for access control of reception facilities

Perfect for small and medium-sized reception structures such as rural tourism or B & Bs, the new features include two devices: an NFC / RFID landing reader - which displays the status of the room and limits access to authorized persons - and an interior NFC / RFID pocket that recognizes the smart card and supplies energy to the room.

Two devices which give birth to an extremely versatile system meeting all requirements.

• In stand-alone mode, through the View Wireless app, the installer starts up the system. The same View Wireless app allows the manager to program access using the wizard built into the app. It memorizes the badges on the smartphone and synchronizes the installation by bringing the smartphone closer to the devices present. Customers will be able to access their room or other common areas using the badge given to them. To increase the level of security, the system offers the “change-over relay” function which triggers the opening contact from the pocket inside the chamber.
• By adding the Bluetooth Wi-Fi IoT gateway, the system is connected, allowing the View app to be used to open the door remotely, check the presence in the room, communicate with other connected devices for the control of the lighting, the possible actuation of blinds and automatic adjustment of the temperature in the room, but also to create personalized scenarios.

Simple operations that make it easier for the person in charge of the structure, without always having to be present at the reception. Customers will be able to access the structure after the manager has opened the door for them, take their badge and use it by inserting it in the pocket to turn on the various devices: a solution that avoids wasting energy.
