Jos Lenferink joined VEKA in June 2003. Chairman of VEKA SAS since 2004, he also took over the management of VEKA Iberica in 2012 and was responsible for the SWENA zone (South West Europe and North Africa) of the Group.
Polyglot, brilliant and passionate, Jos Lenferink had an exceptional entrepreneurial personality that will leave a great void in the profession. He has indeed shaped what the SWENA zone is today by successfully going through several difficult periods (economic crisis of 2008, rise in European competition, Covid pandemic, shortage and increase in the cost of raw materials, etc.). Over the years, he has been able to retain customers by the quality of the overall service provided but also by a deep and sincere human relationship. Fully committed to the company's marketing and sales strategy, he was also able to convince new French and Spanish customers to choose VEKA as a partner and laid the groundwork for promising development in Morocco. The activity of the Thonon-les-Bains and Burgos production sites has thus developed steadily, reinforcing solid know-how and local production. He has also initiated several projects in both countries to increase production capacity and guarantee the highest level of service. His enthusiasm, his communicative energy, his vivacity and his unfailing commitment to VEKA and the defense of the PVC industry were appreciated on a daily basis, through his leadership and his strong positions. For this man of contact, proximity and relationships have always been at the heart of his professional exchanges. His high standards, both vis-à-vis himself and his collaborators, and his benevolence have also left a deep mark on the VEKA teams.
For the VEKA SWENA Management Committee: “Jos Lenferink fully embodied the values and vision of the Group, with employees, customers and partners alike. His passion and his commitment to defend the societal causes that were dear to him, beyond commercial issues, characterized his concern for people. It is a huge loss for us, but we will continue to work for this company and this profession of which he was so proud. The roadmap was de ned under his presidency. With the support of the parent company, French and Spanish employees will continue its implementation to ensure the development of VEKA SWENA.”
