URSA is strengthening its positioning as a local partner, around a primary requirement: to respond precisely to the needs of its customers, whatever the nature of their project, while respecting environmental requirements.
Faced with the challenge of the energy transition it faces, with more than 40% of the energy produced used in buildings, the construction sector must meet ambitious objectives to reduce energy consumption and the carbon footprint of buildings. works, while optimizing construction costs.
To achieve this, insulation is a key lever, which must be systematically implemented. Faced with 5 million poorly insulated homes in France[1], mobilization must be collective, massive and combine comprehensive solutions. It is in this dynamic that URSA, a major player in insulation, is part of, with a strong customer orientation and impactful solutions.
Sustainable development: a common thread URSA
URSA has always based its strategy around sustainable development, thought of on the scale of the performance of its ranges, the services developed, but also the operation of its production sites. A reinforced positioning during its integration into Etex in 2022: the Group, whose dynamic product & systems innovation is widely recognized, is particularly committed to reducing carbon emissions. It is also a signatory of the SBTi (Science Based Targets Initiative).
URSA fully shares this requirement. In recent months, its strategy in this area has accelerated, in particular with the recent appointment of Adovi Adoté, Managing Director of URSA France. Particularly convinced and committed to environmental issues, Adovi Adoté wanted to intensify a reflection already underway within the teams: expanding the current URSA offer to eco/biosourced insulation.
Eco/biosourced insulation: an opening strategy
To meet the dual challenge of overall performance and energy renovation, each project, whatever its characteristics and objectives in terms of environmental requirements and excellence, must be able to benefit from quality solutions, precisely adapted to the expectations of the Project Manager. work.
It is around this fundamental requirement that URSA has built its strategy of opening up to eco/biosourced sources, in addition to its current offer of mineral glass wool and extruded polystyrene, already incorporating significant levels of recycled materials.
This expansion allows URSA to strengthen its position as a key player in insulation, from all points of view, and in a sustainable manner for all its customers (professional markets, individuals, specifiers).
A gradual and rapid deployment
The new URSA eco/biosourced insulation offer, combining different components, will gradually be presented and marketed in retailers and GSB, with the first two products launched in the second half of 2.
This expansion is organized around 3 axes, the foundations of the URSA strategy:
- A partnership approach: URSA supports its customers by offering them tailor-made solutions. The new eco/biosourced offer contributes to strengthening this dynamic by making it possible to provide the market with efficient responses whatever the typologies of construction sites and requirements;
- A strong “solutions” orientation, with targeted logistical approaches to facilitate the daily lives of professionals. For example, the optimization of deliveries, via mixing, which will now include new eco/biosourced products, in addition to URSA references in glass mineral wool and extruded polystyrene, all with a view to meeting deadlines and reducing costs. , optimization of customer stock and reduction of carbon footprint.
- A confirmed position as a reliable and sustainable player, continuing to offer the best in sustainable insulation, with high-performance and reliable products and complete ranges.
For Adovi Adoté, Managing Director URSA France: “Prioritizing the needs of our customers and responding to them precisely has always been URSA’s watchword. Faithful to this driving requirement, we wanted to go even further than simply expanding our range to eco/biosourced products. We want to enable all our customers to embark on this path at their own pace, while gaining profitability. This is why we worked, in parallel with product development, on the possibility of mixing, from 5 pallets. Thus, whatever the size of the company, the volumes and types of products required, classic or eco/biosourced, all our customers can order the mix they need, as soon as they need it, with lead times. short delivery. For them, this is a significant gain in flexibility, agility in managing their stocks and optimizing costs. »
See you in September to discover the first eco/biosourced products from the new URSA offer.
