Uniso insulates facades using our waste

Recycling for better insulation

Each Uniso facade tells a story of a second life: that of everyday waste transformed into sustainable materials. For a 200 m² house renovated with Uniso, this translates to approximately:

• 2.000 aluminum cans, collected, then melted and transformed into coils. The recycled aluminum used comes from 75 to 92% waste: cans, license plates, industrial offcuts…
• 1.000 plastic bottles, sorted, crushed and then reintegrated into the PIR insulating foam. Thus, 15% of this foam is made from recycled plastic, without impacting thermal performance.
• Four old PVC windows were collected, sorted, and recycled. 50% of the recycled PVC is reused in Uniso finishing accessories.

Thanks to this circular design, 80% of the components of an Uniso panel come from recycling. As a result, between 2022 and 2025, the average carbon footprint of the panels was halved, falling from 59 to 25 kg CO₂e/m².

100% French-made

Uniso panels are produced at the Myral factory in Is-sur-Tille, near Dijon, in the heart of Burgundy. It is there that the coils of recycled aluminum, insulating foams, and PVC profiles are formed. Each facade is custom-made to the building's geometry, guaranteeing quick, clean installation without any loss of living space.
