Among these tools, the wedge is a necessary accessory, in that it is used to position and balance a joinery with great precision. It is therefore essential for an efficient and rapid installation of a door or window, whether it is PVC, wood or aluminum.

TRAMICAL is a mounting block made of polypropylene (from 1 to 5 mm) with notched groove and self-breaking bar. This specificity makes it a very solid hold, efficient and durable over time.

TRAMICAL claims a multitude of variations, large or small scale, always with the same reliability and accuracy. Besides the use which is made for fixings of joinery or pre-frames (wood, aluminum or PVC) TRAMICAL is also used for works of "large dimension" such as the installation of wooden or composite terraces.

On a more modest scale, but no less demanding, the shim is useful for all interior arrangements (cupboards, kitchens, etc.) or even for various settings: furniture, tables, etc.

This setting is facilitated by the notched groove which prevents any sliding of the structure, door or window.

Besides the fact that TRAMICAL is French made, the great advantage of this wedge is threefold:

• TRAMICAL can withstand extremely heavy loads. The shims are generally used to distribute the weight of a large surface, which stabilizes the object to be placed and ensures the stability of the construction, without damaging either the frame, for a window or the wall, for a door, or any other storage surface (tiles, parquet, etc.). The shims are stackable up to 30 mm, retaining the self-locking property.
• It ensures thermal break with the frame. The wedge is placed between the wall and the joinery, blocking the cold at the level of the wall, avoiding thermal bridges towards the joinery and the interior of the building. It also participates in the thermal insulation of the construction and prevents condensation on the joinery and fixing brackets.
• TRAMICAL is available and adaptable: 5 thicknesses are available from 1 to 5 mm. The different sizes of the shims are necessary for fitting custom carpentry in the masonry: for example, combining the different sizes in order to rebalance a window before fixing it and hanging up the door leaf. These different types of shims are therefore available in bags of 100 (20 shims of each thickness in a bag).
