Trace Software International launches the 2020 version of the elec calc ™ electrical calculation software

elec calc ™ is a software, dedicated to professionals, which allows to dimension and calculate electrical installations in real time. It is the only software in the world that integrates the management of high and low voltages in the same project and in the same interface, from pre-study to operation. In this new version, the software goes even further in the calculations while facilitating the progress of the electrical design.

Among the new features of the 2020 version

DC module - optional

elec calc ™ includes a direct current module for sizing auxiliary networks (command and control, distribution of sockets and / or lighting). It is now easy to manage direct current in the electrical project.

Duplication of a material reference without the need to open the catalog

It is now possible, by right-clicking, to duplicate a device reference on the single-line diagram. The user saves in design time because the data is automatically completed without the need to return to the catalog.

Global dispatcher

On each distributor it is possible to force consumption to inhibit the downstream power budget. The user can enter either a current or a power, associate the Cos φ and the THD. All calculations, including that of the voltage drop, will be performed on this basis.

UPS maintenance time management

Trace Software is designed to help professionals design highly reliable and safe electrical installations. With elec calc ™, the calculation of thermal stresses between a UPS and the first downstream protection is possible. In addition, a time / current curve makes it possible to visualize the UPS in the selectivity studies.

Compliance with REBT and VDE standards - optional

Two new standards are available in elec calc ™: REBT applicable in Spain and VDE applicable in Germany and Luxembourg.

New "Support" ribbon integrated into the software

This new ribbon centralizes all the functionalities allowing to recover software updates or catalogs, and to manage support tickets and to access the training tutorials included in the subscriptions.

Customers with a subscription are automatically notified from their software of the availability of this new version.
