TomTom and Webfleet Solutions launch integrated mobile solution

The two companies have combined their expertise to create a unique application dedicated to fleet managers and drivers allowing them to meet the challenges they face on a daily basis, including route compliance, meeting delivery deadlines and safety issues.

WEBFLEET Work App enables professional drivers to get their jobs done easily and efficiently using their Android-only mobile devices. Fleet managers and their drivers have access to a wide range of workforce management features without the need for additional hardware. This application includes the location of vehicles, the recording of working times, the identification of drivers, the management of missions and schedules and two-way communication with the back office.

The TomTom GO Fleet application is perfectly integrated into it, and allows drivers to always have the most up-to-date maps, as well as traffic information and navigation in a single tool. They can automatically start their route to the destination of their choice from WEBFLEET Work App, and fleet managers get real-time visibility into estimated arrival times and the current destination.

The combination of WEBFLEET Work App and TomTom GO Fleet, allows drivers to benefit from professional navigation for all types of vehicles. Dedicated truck navigation is also available depending on vehicle characteristics, type of cargo, local regulations and the characteristics of the route taken. Additionally, TomTom GO Fleet assists truck drivers by locating truck-specific Points of Interest (POIs) such as car parks and petrol stations, and offers the most up-to-date maps, even when connectivity is not available. . The app also offers reliable estimated arrival times and real-time traffic information, making it easy for drivers to meet deadlines and reduce fuel costs by taking the best routes.
