Three subsidiaries of the Acieo group selected for the construction of the new Atos factory of the future in Angers

This collaboration illustrates the strength of working in synergy within the group, making it possible to combine complementary expertise to meet the technical and environmental challenges of this major project.

With a surface area of ​​20.000 m², the construction project, led by Alter Cités, is spread over several phases, with a first delivery phase scheduled for mid-2025, allowing operational commissioning at the end of the year. The second phase will be completed in 2027. The project aims to completely restructure the existing industrial site to accommodate the new Atos plant.

Complementary technical know-how at the service of an ambitious project

This project, divided into 10 separate lots, mobilizes the expertise of three subsidiaries of the ACIEO Group for the realization of 3 strategic lots. Each subsidiary brings specific skills:

• David Workshops is responsible for the production of nearly 10.000 m² of cladding, guaranteeing a high-performance and attractive exterior envelope.
• Locked deploys its expertise in exterior joinery, with 2.000 m² of curtain walls and 500 m² of frames.
• SEB Foucault ensures the waterproofing of the building, guaranteeing optimum protection against bad weather and contributing to the sustainability of the construction with 17.000 m² of waterproofing supporting photovoltaic panels, 4.500 m² of self-protected waterproofing and 4.000 m² of dry cover.

This project represents an investment of more than 60 million euros, including construction, equipment and infrastructure. Atos aims to increase the production area by 40%, double current capacities and improve productivity by 30%, while reducing operating costs.

The new factory, BREEAM certified^[1], will also reinject the heat produced by its servers into the local urban heating network of Belle-Beille, thus contributing to the local economy and the energy transition. Part of a sustainable approach, this project uses an industrial wasteland to limit soil artificialization.
