The Transport Innovation Agency launches the "Propulse" program with 4 calls for projects

This innovation support and acceleration program is broken down into 4 calls for projects: “Sustainable transport”, “Data communities”, “Intrapreneurship” and “Development of spaces for multiple use: U-Space Together” . Monday, August 30, 2021 marked the launch of the first three calls for projects.

The stake is to support the most promising innovations and with a strong impact of all types: of services, uses, technological, social, organizational, industrial and to support the actors who bring solutions contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives of the State in terms of sustainable, resilient, quality and accessible transport, (facilitation of intermodality, increase in the average filling rate of vehicles, decarbonization of the vehicle fleet and the energy used, digitalization of services and infrastructures, new mobility solutions for the territories,…).

These calls for projects are addressed to all those, public actors, entrepreneurs, associations which develop innovative projects, exemplary and likely to have a significant impact on the future of mobility. The expected projects are those at the prototype stage and which could embark on the path of scaling up requiring the support of the ministry's teams.

The four components thus correspond to the four calls for projects:

• The call for "Sustainable transport" aims to support projects outside the administration so that innovative private initiatives can benefit from the support of the AIT. Up to 10 projects will be selected;
• The "Data communities" call aims to bring together the entities providing data and the providers of solutions within the mobility ecosystem. Up to 5 data community projects will be selected;
• The “Intrapreneurship” call must help public officials to carry out their innovative projects to improve public service in the transport sector. Up to 5 places are offered;
• The call "Arranging spaces for multiple use: U-Space Together" aims to experiment on a large scale very low altitude drone air traffic management services and share the airspace in a safe and efficient manner.

These calls for projects follow on from the submission of the prefiguration report of the Innovation Agency for Transport to the Minister Delegate in charge of transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, on July 13, 2021, which included, among the 18 proposals, the launch of this acceleration program from the start of the school year.

• October 15: close of applications for the calls for projects "Sustainable transport", "Data communities" and "Intrapreneurship"
• Jury held from 15th November
