The JCB 525-60 E-TECH electric TELESCOPIC won the coveted "Rental Product of the Year" award at the 14th edition of the European Rental Awards, jointly organized by the European Rental Association (ERA) and International Rental News (IRN) in Amsterdam.
Launched last year, the 525-60 E-TECH is the first fully electric JCB telehandler model. The ERA Awards jury said of this machine: "JCB is responding to the rental market demand for clean, zero-emission equipment at the point of use. The new JCB electric TELESCOPIC - besides being a efficient and productive machine - is also an important declaration of intent. "
Designed to deliver the same performance as its conventional diesel-powered counterpart, the 525-60 E-TECH offers a zero-emission load handling solution. Another advantage of electrical equipment is a significant reduction in noise and dust levels, which makes the TELESCOPIC suitable for prolonged use on sensitive urban sites.
The exterior dimensions are identical to those of its diesel counterpart. It offers the same outside turning radius of 3,7 meters. Its maximum lifting capacity is 2 kg, with a maximum load of 500 kg at the maximum lift height of six meters.
The machine has been designed to offer similar hydraulic cycle times to its diesel counterpart, with no loss of performance.
