SDIS Rhône-Alpes safer and more efficient thanks to the modernization of doors

These automatic operating doors have been designed in accordance with all the functional and safety requirements of the European directives and the standards of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).

Custom design

With its modern and refined design, the Dynaco I-14P door is one of the most stable and efficient insulated sectional doors on the market. Its great flexibility and complete customization allow this door to be installed in practically any environment, both functionally and aesthetically. The door is made of insulated panels designed without thermal bridges for a minimal heat transfer coefficient, which reduces energy costs. Breaking the thermal bridge also reduces energy consumption and the risk of condensation and frost. The I-14P panel with IDO7 motor has an opening and closing speed of 0,25m/s and slides under the roof when opened, creating free space around the door opening and maintaining full access.

Next Level Security

The 17 I-14P Panel doors installed at the SDIS in the Rhône-Alpes region are all equipped with an immaterial barrier, which improves the level of safety. This security consists of a barrier of photoelectric cells 2,5 m high. If a vehicle drives past the photocells while the door is closing, the safety device is immediately activated and the door opens again. This way the bottom of the door can never hit the vehicle and the risk of damage is greatly reduced. In addition, the automated version of the Dynaco I-14P door was chosen as the most sensible choice to avoid collisions and damage. At a fire station, turnaround times are very short and firefighters need to get to the scene very quickly. Doors that temporarily block the building are therefore to be absolutely avoided.
