The Jura valley has always shaped Plastor’s journey and vision. The company has forged strong links with wood and places it at the heart of its strategy. More than just a material, it is a real source of inspiration for enhancing exceptional places, but also a resource for tomorrow.
This is why the brand strives to promote wood and the talent of the professionals who work it on demanding construction sites.
Plastor, a French brand with authenticity values
Born in the heart of the Jura in 1957, Plastor, the professional brand of the V33 Group, draws its strength from family heritage. Deeply attached to its roots and the values of authenticity, the brand has always favored local production. By focusing on French manufacturing, it ensures the quality of its products, reflecting its commitment to its customers.
Over the decades, Plastor has forged a deep conviction that wood requires careful protection and stylish embellishment. It has also developed a complete range to meet all the needs of craftsmen: varnishes, oils, maintenance, preparation and renovation products, stains, saturators, etc.
A brand with strong convictions, committed alongside artisans
Promoting wood but also the talent of the professionals who work with it on demanding sites is the leitmotif of Plastor. The brand, which aims to reveal the nobility of wood, is driven by 3 strong values:
Love of wood
Located on a site with exceptional trees, Plastor has developed a real link with the Jura forest and the unique species that make it up. Through its expertise and its high-performance products, it intends to sustainably preserve wood, this noble, authentic and natural material, present in many construction, renovation and decoration projects.
Promoting heritage and exceptional places
Plastor products live up to exceptional locations and their requirements. Resistant, they help to sustainably preserve the warm appearance of wood. They enhance this material, whether indoors or outdoors, and enhance its timeless beauty by nourishing and protecting it.
To reward craftsmen who have carried out remarkable projects, Plastor has been organizing the Vitrification Trophies for several years. This award highlights the quality of the work and the know-how of parquet professionals, who are committed to protecting heritage.
In order to take into account wood projects carried out outdoors, Plastor is rethinking this event and launching the Wood Finishing Trophies.
Excellence at the service of artisans
Involved in the relationship with its partners, Plastor listens and advises parquet floorers and wood professionals. Because the brand knows that the use of wood requires excellence from professionals, it makes a point of supporting them at each stage of their project.
Plastor is also keen to support the younger generation, the artisan carpenters, carpenters and floorers of tomorrow. This is why the brand sponsored the 12th edition of the Challenge du Bois, a way to contribute to the development of the wood industry in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, but also to raise awareness of the brand among tomorrow's professionals.
Plastor's raison d'être supported by a new identity
To better meet the challenges of tomorrow, Plastor wanted to give itself new impetus while building on its history. Today, it displays a new logo with its creation date and more refined typography, as well as a new signature linked to its DNA “Let's reveal the best of wood”.
To initiate this change, Plastor first redesigned the packaging of its historic range of water-based varnishes, Pur-T®. More modern, they offer better readability of information and leave ample room for a visual presentation of the situation.
Iconic, the Pur-T® range offers exclusive technology that promotes sustainable development and offers excellent performance.
To guarantee good indoor air quality, Pur-T® varnishes are classified A+. Certified, they have a low VOC content and FDES for HQE constructions.
Classified by easily identifiable performance levels, from level 1 to 4, they can meet all usage constraints, from rooms with little use to very exposed public places.
During the second half of the year, Plastor will also launch a new tool to simplify the daily lives of its artisan customers: a new online ordering website.
