This event was also an opportunity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the QUALITEL endowment fund and to look back on a decade in favor of solidarity.
Divided into 4 categories (accommodation, digital, support and research), the projects awarded this year all respond to the same desire: to support and support disadvantaged or isolated people. These organizations and associations will share the total sum of € 230, an essential and precious financial aid enabling them to make their project a reality, to develop it or to renew it.
The QUALITEL endowment fund: reminder
Created at the end of 2011 by the QUALITEL Association as part of its mission to promote the quality of housing, the QUALITEL Endowment Fund finances and supports solidarity, innovative and committed projects in favor of decent and quality housing for all.
Objective: to improve the living conditions of the most disadvantaged people: young people who are out of society, people who are homeless, in a loss of autonomy or in a situation of disability, isolated women, refugees, etc.
Once again this year, in a health context that generates increasing difficulties for these vulnerable groups every day, the QUALITEL Group is committed for the 10th year: 156 projects were received, of which 28 were selected1 by the Board of Directors of the Fund. QUALITEL endowment, the employees of the QUALITEL Group and the sponsoring partners of the Endowment Fund. The promoters of these projects (associations, NGOs, etc.) will share the total amount of € 230.
28 distinguished projects around 4 issues
All the awarded projects are organized around 4 categories:
- Accommodation: offer sustainable housing solutions, fight against fuel poverty and promote quality housing.
- Support and education: training in eco-friendly practices and controlling energy consumption, promoting integration and access to rights, raising awareness of health, hygiene and domestic risks.
- Research: improve energy performance, thermal and acoustic comfort in housing, improve air quality, installations and fire risk prevention, promote sustainable materials and renewable energies.
- Digital: put new technologies at the service of housing, train in new uses, develop applications and platforms for solidarity services.
Within these categories, a total of 12 projects were selected by the Board of Directors of the QUALITEL endowment fund, 1 by employees and 15 by sponsoring partners in connection with their respective engagement theme:
- CERQUAL Qualitel Certification, for decent and quality housing;
- ROCKWOOL France, to fight against unworthy housing and discrimination;
- Malakoff Humanis, to promote aging well and home support for seniors in rural areas;
- FASE, in connection with electrical safety;
- BNP Paribas Immobilier, on the themes of integration and the environment;
- Pierre Étoile, for access to housing and improvement of living conditions;
- QUALIBAT, for awareness and support for energy renovation;
- Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, on the topic of digital technology and social impact;
- The Federation of Elevators, for the accessibility of housing.
