The Qualitel Endowment Fund launches a crowdfunding campaign in favor of dignified and quality housing for all

As part of its 2022 edition, the QUALITEL Endowment Fund is launching a crowdfunding campaign. Objective: promote and support even more projects committed to decent and quality housing for all.

For this first crowdfunding campaign, the Endowment Fund has chosen to highlight 2 associations, having applied for its 2022 call for projects: “Léa Solidarité Femmes” working with women victims of domestic violence and “Solinum”, a network citizen accommodation.

Anyone wishing to participate can now do so via the Hello Asso platform [1], until December 14 inclusive.

For 11 years, the QUALITEL Endowment Fund has been financing and supporting solidarity, innovative and committed projects in favor of decent and quality housing for all, in particular for the most disadvantaged groups: young people with no social background, homeless people, loss of autonomy or in a situation of disability, isolated women, refugees...

Last April, the Endowment Fund, supported by 10 patron partners, launched the call for projects for its 11th edition. 177 applications were submitted. The winners, unveiled at a dedicated ceremony on December 9, will share a total prize pool of €211.500.

In view of the quality of the projects presented, the Endowment Fund wanted to be able to go even further: it chose to launch a crowdfunding campaign, calling on the generosity of the public, to support 2 additional associations:

The Léa Solidarité Femmes association, with its “Maison Solidarité Femmes” project

The Léa Solidarité Femmes association welcomes 24/24 women victims of domestic and intra-family violence, with their children, in a house specially designed for them, in Essonne. A refuge where they feel safe, where they are supported socially, psychologically and legally.

To accommodate these families, which are more and more numerous, the association wishes to develop by fitting out a safety studio and the common areas, for the 2.500 women and children who will benefit from it.

The Solinum Association, with its “Thank you for the invite” project

The Solinum Association offers digital tools to help women and men in precarious situations. Its “Thank you for the invite” project is a digital platform for citizen accommodation, allowing associations helping people in precarious situations to connect with families wishing to accommodate them. Various digital tools, training courses, etc. are developed to ensure peaceful “cohabitation”.

In the coming months, the Solinum association would like at least 100 people, particularly from Ukraine, to be accommodated.
