The PBM group is once again organizing the Stairs Design Awards competition for student architects

Stairs Design Awards #3, an innovative competition

The use of concrete must be obvious but other materials can be associated with it. The staircase must keep a staircase function, comply with accessibility rules and be feasible.

Conditions of participation

This competition is free and open to all students enrolled in a school of architecture in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany or Spain for the year 2022-2023. Candidates can present themselves either individually or as a team. All the registration procedures are presented on the website dedicated to the competition: www.pbm-stairsdesignawards.fr

On the occasion of this third edition and to put the students in the best conditions, the PBM Group has chosen to update the dates of the competition.

Key dates

• Registration: October 17, 2022 to January 31, 2023
• Deadline for submission of projects: February 28, 2023
• Announcement of the 10 finalist projects: March 16, 2023
• Public vote: from March 16 to March 26, 2023, Internet users are invited to vote for their favorite projects
• Prize-giving ceremony: April 3, 2023 at La Sucrière, Lyon

Rewards

The winners are determined by the jury, made up of architects, teachers and the management of PBM Groupe. They will receive the following amounts:

• 1st prize: €8.000
• 2th prize: €5.000
• 3th prize: €2.500
• Audience award: €1.500
• PBM Prize: €1.500 (internal vote by PBM Groupe employees)
