"At the national level, we will be at the objective (...) which was set at 2.500 France Services houses in the year 2022", declared the minister during a press point.
"All French people are less than 30 minutes from a France Services house and even less than 20 minutes for 9 out of 10 French people. It is obviously a granularity in the map which is the right level", he said. congratulated after a visit to a "France Services motorhome" that can accommodate the public.
"500.000 French people come every month to a France Services house. (...) Over a year, it must be considered that almost 10% of French people have access to public services via a France Services house, whether it is in sedentary format or in mobile format,” he added.
“We have to continue this increase in accessibility, in attendance (…) because now, the last kilometer is to seek out the citizens furthest from public services (…). That's why buses are fundamental. It will make it possible to bring public services to citizens, sometimes in a village square or in a priority district", he insisted.
"We are in the process of inventing a new public policy, a policy of access to public services, but also of the fight against the digital divide", judged Mr. Guerini, while the State finances each structure up to 30.000 euros, while providing 40% of operating costs, according to him.
Emmanuel Macron launched the France Services network in April 2019 so that everyone can be welcomed in a single place and be supported in their administrative procedures, with the desire to fight against the isolation of part of the population.
Following the legislative elections, which brought 89 RN deputies to the National Assembly, many elected officials, such as the president of the Association of Rural Mayors (AMRF) Michel Fournier, had called for an "emergency plan" to rural areas deserted by public services.
The Association of Small Towns of France (APVF) had for its part "solemnly" asked Emmanuel Macron to take into account "a vote of anger and deep concern" in the campaigns.
