Faster and smoother: the promise of ZWCAD 2021

Speed, a key feature of ZWCAD, is at its best so far thanks to the improved graphics engine. On average, reading files takes 30% less time in this version than in the previous one.

Major novelties

• Layer transparency

Sometimes it's inevitable that design elements overlap. To have a clearer view, it is now possible to specify the transparency of objects, hatches, references, etc. individually or collectively if they are in the same layer.

• Referral Manager

In one panel, one can preview and highlight files, check file information, change file path, etc.

Managing all your files in a single manager is now possible!

• Layer properties by presentation window

We may need to highlight some objects to plot them without affecting the drawing in model space. Now that the viewport layers are available, it is possible to accentuate the specific properties of the layers (layer color, line type, line weight, etc.) for each viewport.

• Faster calculations with formulas in tables and fields

The value of the table cells can be added, averaged, multiplied, etc. using mathematical formulas and expressions.

Likewise, formulas are available in the Field dialog box.
