Indeed, if Hörmann initiates new solutions synonymous with safe, fluid and flawless logistics, the manufacturer also unveils an anthology of innovations devoted to access control.

Hörmann, on the dock equipment side, the safety credo

MRF mechanical tailgate

As safety is a key aspect of the supply chain, Hörmann innovates by offering its MRF mechanical tailgate solution. The MRF single dock leveler is ideal for light to medium intensity applications, ensuring safe and compliant work. It also guarantees compliance of old loading plate or other type docks.

The Hörmann MRF manual leveler, with a refuge area to comply with Carsat recommendations, is also optionally equipped with guardrails for optimum personal safety. The MRF tailgate is a manually operated loading tailgate with a pneumatic balancing system. Measuring 870 mm long, it offers a working range of + 85 to - 124 mm in accordance with the EN 1398 standard.

Mounted by welding on the nose of the platform, the Hörmann MRF lift has a pair of galvanized brackets placed vertically for housing rubber, PU or steel bumpers. It should be noted that these consoles, constituting the safety zone required by CARSAT, are offered in two thicknesses (D1) to choose from which are suitable for the type of bumper (thickness of the bumper D2), to be ordered separately.

Available in 5 NW ordering widths (1250, 1500, 1750, 2000 and 2250), the MRF claims nominal loads of 30, 38, 45 and 60 kN for the MRF version and 45 and 60 for the MRS version. Finally, it guarantees effortless lowering of the platform thanks to a control bar.

Specific docking solutions

Hörmann also launches the marketing of various special solutions for dock equipment, with a modular system guaranteeing quick assembly.

These new solutions include, among others, the two-level lift (for efficient loading and unloading of trailers on two loading levels, capacity of 6 to 20 pallets, i.e. 4 to 20 tonnes), individual adaptation docks ( to compensate for differences in height and inclination, capacity of 6 to 13 pallets, i.e. 4 to 12,5 tonnes), or even goods lifts (for transporting goods between the different floors of the storage hall, capacity of 2 to 6 pallets, i.e. from 2,25 to 4 tons and speed of 30 to 90 mm / second).

Finally, note the availability of lifts, an ideal solution for covering the height differences between the level of the hall and that of the traffic lane.

Manual wheel locking system MWB2

Ensuring the blocking of the truck during the loading or unloading phase of the trucks, this Hörmann reference further optimizes the safety of the operators on the loading stations.

Justifying a particularly robust construction and suitable for all truck sizes, the MWB2 blocking system also has a simple and intuitive control.

The MWB2 also stands out with a blocking height of 300 mm. This is in fact high enough to prevent the vehicle from untimely starting or a progressive drift of the latter and low enough to pass under the mudguards and wheel fairings.

It should also be noted that the MWB2 is fitted with sensors to ensure that the locking arm is in contact with the wheel and a lock preventing premature departure of the truck, the release of the loading station only intervening when the dock door is closed. closed.

Hörmann, access control and security

Automatic barriers SH 50 / SH 100

Constituting an economical solution, Hörmann's SH 50 and SH 100 barriers are equipped with shock protection, preventing the barrier from closing in the event of obstacles.

Fitted with LED lighting integrated into the cover to provide visual signaling of the status of the barrier, they are also fitted with a BiSecur wireless receiver.

This receiver is also compatible with Hörmann remote controls (standard on the SH 100 and optional on the SH 50). It should also be noted that they offer passage widths available up to 4710 mm for the SH 50 and up to 5750 mm for the SH 100 model.

Security electromechanical bollards

Finally, to close this range of innovations, Hörmann announces the marketing of 3 references of automatic bollards without maintenance and more respectful of the environment: the A 127-600/800 E, A220-600/800 E and A 275-600 /800 E (respective diameters of 127, 220 and 275 mm for blocking heights of 600 to 800 mm).

Requiring no hydraulic oil, easy to maintain since no checking of hydraulic components, pressure or oil level is required, these new Hörmann references are equipped with virtually indestructible 24 V DC motors, without brushes and with few transmission components.

Designed to ensure 1000 cycles per day, they guarantee simple replacement, without work, of the 220 or 275 mm diameter hydraulic bollard thanks to the foundation box already made.
