The "new DPE" method is improved

The improvement proposals built on the feedback from anomalies communicated as early as July 22 to the ministry by FIDI thanks to the mobilization of its members, proposals widely relayed and supported by UNIS, were essentially adopted.

On October 4, the Minister of Housing Emmanuelle Wargon announced a new corrective decree, published on October 14 for entry into force the following day.

FIDI and UNIS will continue their close collaboration in the sector to make proposals to the public authorities very quickly, in particular:

• Documents to provide: specific lists and less "catch-all" for transactions, rentals, mandates, ...
• The creation of a service "inventory" of the energy performance of a building to help property managers provide currently unobtainable building information for older properties / until widespread application of RTs (1980s).
• And other questions of method or communication which involve the real estate sector, from diagnosis to transaction or rental.

For Danielle Dubrac, president of the Uni: “Our clients' assets should not be devalued; this is why we are continuing our joint work with FIDI with regard to the government. ".

Stéphane Prouzeau, vice-president of FIDI, indicates for his part: “Energy renovation work must be taken into account by the purchaser or the lessor when they“ imagine ”the property as a place to live. A reliable DPE is the first tool ”.
