The marketing of biofuel F30, intended to replace domestic fuel oil, has begun

The marketing of biofuel F30 began with a gradual deployment.

Currently, this new liquid fuel, less emissive than traditional heating oil and comprising up to 30% renewable energy, is available from 17 source depots located in the regions of Bordeaux, Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, La Rochelle, Lyon, Mulhouse, Orleans, Poitiers, Strasbourg and Toulon.

New source depots are scheduled for the first quarter of 2023 in Île-de-France as well as in Rouen and Lorient.

The list of establishments involved in the distribution of F30 biofuel is available in the directory of F30 distributors (link) but not all of them can offer it yet depending on their geographical location.

Given the logistical deployment times, the profession recommends installing a biocompatible F30 boiler only after having had the assurance of a distributor that it will be able to supply F30 biofuel quickly.

The current price of traditional domestic fuel oil is €1,30/L including tax (value as of December 9, 2022, down 17% compared to the last 3 months).

The price of biofuel is estimated at around +15%. This additional cost is more than offset by the performance of the biocompatible boilers, which allows energy savings of over 25%.
