The Group has in fact exceeded 2,5 billion euros in turnover for the first time, an increase of more than 6%, benefiting from an expanded geographic footprint and its diversification efforts. The performance in France and in the countries of Southern and Eastern Europe and Brazil supports the Group's development strategy.
In France, turnover reached one billion euros for the first time (+6,6%), reflecting regular growth in the general activity and sustained development of the Group's specialized activities.
At constant exchange rates, turnover in the Nordics increased by 3% thanks to current major industrial projects and the acquisition of JIAB Hyrcenter in northern Sweden. The adverse effect of exchange rates explains the recorded contraction in turnover of 2,3% in 2023 at current exchange rates.
The turnover of the Rest of the World division increased by 14,4% to reach 804 million euros, becoming the second division of the Group. Activity was particularly dynamic in the countries of Southern Europe and Eastern Europe as well as in Brazil, where Loxam acquired the rental companies Motormac and A Geradora last year, quadrupling its turnover there. business.

Remarkable safety performance
The year 2023 records a remarkable safety performance for the Group with a marked drop in accidents in 2023, -24% at Group level and -38% in France. This performance is achieved in particular thanks to the implementation of a safety awareness and management program, strong managerial leadership and the sharing of best practices with the most efficient subsidiaries in terms of safety, such as those in the United Kingdom. United, from Scandinavia and Central Europe.

2024: Olympic ambitions!
After the success of the Rugby World Cup France 2023, of which Loxam was one of the main partners, the Group is now looking ahead to the summer of 2024 with the holding of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games of which it is an official Supporter. Loxam, partner and supplier, has brought on board an ecosystem of French companies to meet the logistical needs of the organizing committee for the Paris 2024 Games. From spring 2024, the Group will deliver the temporary installations intended to accommodate the public, athletes and organizers on around twenty sites during the Games. In partnership with the events specialist GL events, Loxam will also ensure the electrical connection, distribution and supply of emergency and temporary energy, as well as thermal regulation on competition and non-competition sites.
